Larry has twenty five years of private equity experience, including the sourcing, execution and management of growth-oriented private equity investments in business services, education and  training, healthcare, and other industries.  Prior to forming Millpond, from 2003-2018, Larry served as a Partner at Brockway Moran & Partners, a middle-market private equity firm with more than $1 billion of capital under management.  Before joining Brockway Moran, Larry was a Managing Director at William Blair Capital Partners and a Principal at William Blair & Co. He currently serves as a Director of Paxton/Patterson, Galileo Education, Financial Aid Services, Futuri Media, and Science Interactive Group. He previously served as a Director of TouchMath, Crisis Prevention Institute, Air Medical Group Holdings, Woodstream Corporation, Turning Technologies, U.S. Education Corporation, CLP Resources and other businesses.  Larry began his career in the Healthcare Investment Banking Group at Smith Barney.

He earned a BS in Business Administration from The Ohio State University and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

He lives in Boca Raton, Florida with his wife and three children, and serves on the Board of Forging Youth Resilience, a non-profit providing youth access to fitness and mentoring programs.
