Millpond Equity Partners is a lower middle-market private equity firm focused on investing in business services companies, with a particular focus on the education and training services and outsourced services sectors. Headquartered in Boca Raton, Florida, the Millpond team has more than 50 years of combined private equity and operating experience, which it draws upon to partner with growing businesses and create value.
Millpond combines a partnership approach with extensive hands-on operational and investment management experience. The firm partners with leaders of healthy and growing businesses to provide the strategic guidance, resources, and support typical in larger enterprises and assists those companies in their next phase of growth.

We have been partnering with growth oriented middle market service businesses for over 20 years and draw on the experience to create value with our partner businesses in the lower middle market.
We use a collaborative approach to partner with management teams through the Millpond Operating Process, a set of tools and processes to assist with driving continued growth in their companies through a variety of strategic and operational initiatives and can also provide the resources necessary to execute highly accretive add-on acquisitions.
We have extensive experience and resources and remain actively engaged in each portfolio company to assist our partner management teams to execute their strategy. Our sole focus on our investment sectors provides a depth of knowledge that enables us to immediately begin value enhancing activities with our partner companies.

Larry has more than twenty years of middle market private equity experience sourcing, executing, and managing growth-oriented investments in the education, training, and outsourced business services sectors. Larry is passionate about leveraging his significant experience and knowledge of Millpond’s sectors of interest to partner with entrepreneurs and managers and assist them in strategically growing their businesses into large, successful, well-positioned enterprises.
Jeff has nearly thirty years of experience driving growth in middle market businesses as a private equity investor and operating executive, serving in such executive capacities as Executive Chairman, Board Member, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Financial Officer, in 10 different middle market businesses. Jeff is passionate about utilizing his operating executive experience to provide strategic and operating guidance and advice to our partner management teams, with significant insight into and empathy for the situations that management teams face.
Nick has more than five years of experience executing mergers and acquisitions as a private equity investor and investment banker, all focused on helping middle market entrepreneurs and managers create value in their enterprises, largely in the education, training, and outsourced business services sectors. Nick is passionate about working alongside management teams to add strategic, financial, and analytical capabilities to build process capabilities and value in their enterprises.
